PAIRING: Harvest is over and Alex, our Assistant Winemaker, has more time for a leisurely meal. She paired this with with a lemon and herb marinated roasted chicken, crispy sage leaves and wood-fired winter vegetables topped with buratta cheese. The nuttiness of the vegetables and creamy buratta complimented the herbal qualities of the wine, while the contrasting flavors of herb roasted lemon chicken and crispy sage with the dark fruit of the wine made this a match made in heaven.
